Starlight - Margaret Geraghty (2009)

A world of peace

Enclosed in the centre of a body

It dwells in a heart

Giving out joy

Sallying forth like a slow insect

On a path.

Hushing stormy seas

No more water wasting from eyes

Seeing light from a star

Each point giving direction

Following in child like innocence.

Margaret Geraghty is a member of a poetry circle named the 'Mullingar Scribblers', who meet weekly.
Margaret looks forward to her writing sessions with the group and enjoys the time it gives her to spend with other writers who are also good friends.
